NORTON HOUSE HOTEL

Edinburgh wedding photographer

From their website....

This 1840 hotel is a romantic Scottish wedding venue and one of the best meeting venues in Edinburgh, thanks to its location, 5 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre, and its tailored, all inclusive packages. Set alongside our hotel there is the Norton House Health Club & Spa, making it perfect for weekend breaks in Scotland and a great place to work out, relax or unwind.

Norton House Hotel is blessed with not only original features that you would expect from a country house, it also has contemporary buildings as well. It's gardens are extensive and easily accessible which makes my style of documentary wedding photography much easier!

There is ample car parking both in front of the main entrance and in the main carpark to the side.

Venue Details

I've shot several weddings at Norton House Hotel in Edinburgh. The hotel has options for different sizes of ceremony including a very modern building alongside the sports and spa area. That is where the image at the top of the page was taken.

Being so close to South Queensferry I like to pop down to the coast for some portraits. If the weather allows obviously! Though there's nothing wrong with a wee bit of rain.

If you're getting married at Norton House Hotel I'd love to hear from you! Any questions about how the venue works for photography, any questions in general just get in touch.

There is plenty of space for guests to mingle.

The gardens

Evening dancing.

And of course it's really simple to pop outside onto the patio for evening shots.
