Fife wedding photographer

Balbirnie House is a remarkable success story for Fife. 12 time winner of Scotlands wedding hotel of the year probably tells you all you need to know

The hotel provides so many options that despite my having photographed dozens of weddings here, it still feels different every time. Ceremonies can be inside in multiple rooms or outside on beautiful lawns which absolutely perfectly suits my style of documentary wedding photography .

The hotel can be found in Markinch, a village just outside Glenrothes in Fife. Following the A92 north, the hotel is ~50 mins drive from Edinburgh City centre.

Balbirnie is rightly viewed as one of the top hotels in Scotland and indeed it has won several awards for best wedding hotel worldwide!

Luxury rooms provide the perfect backdrop for prep parties in the morning of a wedding and the most commonly used room is dual aspect and so is flooded with light. The windows also provide the perfect opportunity to see guests arriving and who's heading into the bar from the gardens to the side!

For ceremonies there is the Long Gallery (pictured) and the Orangery to name only 2.
